| It's about Elliott Smith time of the year for me. just because. so here's some lyrics to song that has been stuck in my head for a few days now. it's really short but really good.
"
Drink up baby, stay up all night
With the things you could do, you won't but you might
The potential you'll be that you'll never see
The promises you'll only make
People you've been before that you don't want around anymore
That push and shove and won't bend to your will
I'll keep them still" -Elliott Smith
genius!

| so i know i haven't really written in a long time. but here's the news... new york=awsome mcm1940=started and almost ready dylan=busy
and here's some music things... Neon Bible by the Arcade Fire does officially rock, i just needed to get used to it. The new Patrick Wolf cd The Magic Position is the best cd i have ever heard in a good long time. Deerhoof just in general rocks! TV on the Radio's Return to Cookie Mountain was as good as everybody said it was. Menemona is one of my new favorite bands because they rock out loud! I think that might be it...so yeah.
EDIT: more music...after careful listening today i realized that i really like the new Modest Mouse Album alot. it took me a long time to get into. a long time. but now i think i like it. It's not nearly as good as their earlier stuff but its still better than a lot of whats out there today.

| well folks cabaret finished and now i'm on to Musical Comedy Murders which is amazingly more fun. my response to Cabaret, the audience loved, i never really want to relive that expierience however. i'm going to New York in a matter of 5 days to see shows and expierience new york for the first time and i'm unbelievably excited for that. lets see what else. my body hurts and i've finally learned how to sew good. but i guess that's all for now. oh and i'm for sure going to be in appleton for most of the summer except when i'm traveling.

| so today i went to The Gap and bought something! yes! i found something at the Gap and bought it! i know i was shocked as well. It was a shirt (on clearance for $4) and a pair of slip on shoes because as many of you know i desperatly needed new ones. Also today i heard on the radio the new Arcade Fire song and i didn't really like it which made me sad...but then i heard an Of Montreal song and that made me happy! and also today i found out that i will most likely not being going to see The Apples in Stereo, or Iron & Wine, or Of Montreal or The Decemberists in concert because everytime they are playing i am out of town or in rehearsal. and by that i mean when Of Montreal is playing for really cheap in Milwaukee i will be in New York. crap. but i guess oh well, there will be time for me to see shows. i hope someday. maybe not. we'll see.
